Corporate Social Responsibility
The group runs three progressive schools in the NCR of Delhi under the brand of The Heritage School. Two of these are located in Delhi and one in Gurgaon. The schools are the result of the Group’s founder, Mr. N.C. Jain ’s desire to make a small contribution to the development of the nation. Education at the school level in the country is predominantly imparted by rote learning and has an exam orientation, with genuine learning taking a back seat. More often than not such practices are devoid of meaning for the student. Recognizing this problem schools and several educational organizations around the world are investing heavily in creating models of real learning. Learning that is more hands-on, more contextual, more joyous and more connected to life. The Heritage Schools are amongst the few schools in the world that have adopted the path of educating their children as opposed to just schooling them.
